Famously known for their chic, boutique-style hotels in NYC’s East Village and Downtown LA, The Standard will be opening their first hotel in London later this summer. Situated in the historic Camden Town Annex opposite St Pancras Station, this modern, design-led property will feature 266 bedrooms, some with their very own outdoor terraces and bathtubs overlooking the station. There will be a destination rooftop restaurant ideal for summer parties as well as dedicated event space for meetings and conferences.
Great Scotland Yard Hotel
The former home of the Metropolitan Police is set to be transformed into a luxury lifestyle hotel, due to open later this year as part of the Hyatt Unbound brand. Located in the heart of Westminster, some of the hotels features will pay homage to the building’s history with references to its military past with shields and emblems alongside opulent handcrafted marble, leather and crystal interiors and 153 luxurious bedrooms. There will also be a variety of sophisticated food and beverage outlets as well as meeting space and private dining rooms.
The Stratford at Manhattan Loft Gardens
Set across six floors in the heart of Stratford, this Scandi-esque hotel is due to open in May 2019 and boy are we excited for this one! Designed by SPACE Copenhagen, think pastel tones, natural timbers and stylish stone bathrooms throughout with a glorious triple-height lobby and imposing central atrium. There will be two dedicated meeting spaces, both flooded with natural daylight and equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology, ideal for conferences and product launches, as well as three impressive Sky Gardens, all just in time for the Great British Summer.
Having recently opened at the beginning of 2019, this brand new boutique hotel which is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection has created quite the buzz. Located on Tooley Street just a stone’s throw away from Tower Bridge, this Grade II listed building was once a Magistrates’ Court and police station constructed in 1905 by architect John Dixon Butler. The stand-alone hotel reflects the area’s creative nature as well as its rich culture, boasting 193 uniquely designed bedrooms and an edgy, eclectic vibe throughout.
Due to open in the summer, this unconventional hotel will be situated in London’s trendy East End, paying homage to its industrial and technological routes. The property will be NH Group’s first nhow hotel in the UK and guests can expect the same urban design and and unique characteristics, featuring 190 bedrooms, a ‘reinvention of the British pub,’ a bar, gym and three quirky meeting rooms called Laboratories, alongside vibrant interiors and contemporary artwork.
