The minimalistic setting is home to Scanadi-esque furniture, low hanging lighting and overgrown greenery; from potted plants to exotic cacti. Bourne & Hollingsworth
Just a stone’s throw away from Exmouth Market, Bourne & Hollingsworth has everything you need under one roof. The restaurant/greenhouse/cocktail bar/cookery school and late-night underground drinking den boasts seven different areas to eat, drink and dance. The unique venue took inspiration from the faded grandeur of a stately home, combining rich fabrics with modern shades, while The Greenhouse provides private dining in a bright and airy setting adorned with lush greenery and low festoon lighting.
This stylish boutique hotel combines eclectic, vibrant interiors with intriguing soundscapes and carefully curated artwork, creating a world of hedonistic fun with a hint of the surreal. Boasting an outdoor bar and Michelin star restaurant, the Mandrake is the perfect go-to for those warmer summer evenings. With a magnificent hanging garden on the first floor, as well as a striking central Courtyard which takes centre stage of the hotel, there’s a variety of intimate event spaces, including the Jurema Terrace; a hidden oasis in the heart of the bustling West End, great for informal drinks receptions and brand events.
The Churchill Arms
The Churchill Arms is probably one of those venues that you’ve seen over and over but never jotted down the name, mainly recognisable due to the array of flowers displayed on its exterior. Unlike most traditional English pubs with their tidy handing baskets and potted plants, the building has a dramatic garden wall covering the entire exterior of the pub. Sure, the Churchill Arms has a quirky look, but it certainly works in our books! A perfect venue all year round, from beautiful bright florals in the summer to mini Christmas trees during the festive period, you can see why this traditional country pub is a hit.
